Oliver and Trouble

 IT'S THE TRUTH! The "little voices" in your head ARE REAL! No. You're not crazy...well, maybe you are, but the voices that most people hear are actually Oliver and Trouble, two boundless beings who work on the side of ultimate evil and infinite good. Oliver is a born-again troublemaker and will make your life a mess if you let him, but Trouble, to the contrary of his namesake, tries to save you as much self-harm that Oliver inflicts. They are on opposite ends of the spectrum from one another, so how on Earth could they possibly be best friends?

Oliver and Trouble have existed since the beginning of time, and may well be there at the end as well. They have both, nurtured and hindered the evolution of man with their contributions, but quiet as it's kept, Oliver is the real cause of the dinosaur extinction and Trouble is responsible for helping the first microbes of life find their way to the shore to develop into humans.

They are the very best of friends, mostly due to the fact that they are the only two of their kind. They can "whisper" in a human's ear, but they cannot mutually communicate with any other beings. Beyond that restriction, they are every bit the same as us. From Monday to Friday, they are on the job, working hard for their respective efforts. However, on the weekend, they let off steam as they take a much needed break and just kick back and enjoy the spoils of their efforts.

This is the premise of the Oliver and Trouble comic. Two characters invented to create laughter and offer a smile. Very much in the spirit of the "Spy vs. Spy" characters from Mad Magazine, these two go all-out to impact us, for better or worse. At the same time, they are truly unique in a world where they are the masters of all they survey. They can create utter mayhem...but in a way that makes it easy to enjoy.
