UNSOUNDED Hype

If you like comics with

fantastic AND realistic character development

extremely well thought out world building

amazing art

hot guys

A cool, custom magic system that makes sense

a nice, long archive for binging

frequent, reliable updates

a creator who is super accessible and willing to answer all of your weird, random questions (that aren't spoilers)

then you'll like Unsounded.

More hype (because this comic really is amazing) :

The author has a really good sense of pacing and balance. She somehow manages to make a comic that includes blood and gore AND singing butts, and it doesn't feel forced or cheesy.

Her characters feel real, and she has mastered the art of "everyone-wants-to-do-what's-right-yet-they're-all-working-against-each-other" and it's easy to find yourself rooting for multiple different sides, but there are still plenty of baddies that are easy to hate.

She also has developed religions, unique species, an entire language (it doesn't interfere with the understanding of the comic though) a cult, and side stories in prose that tell stories from the past that aren't necessary to know in the comic, but are fun to read because they help you get to know the characters even more.

One thing I will suggest, though, is to make sure you read through at least chapter 2 before making any judgement. Chapter one is kind of a prequel in the sense that the real action doesn't really begin until chapter 2

Also I would consider this a pretty mature comic for language, violence and nudity. All three of those are done in tasteful ways I think (swearing flows with dialogue/character; violence is gory, but only in specific scenes--it's no horror comic; nudity has only been breasts and butts but adult situations are also rarely implied.) but still may not be appropriate for young readers, & is occasionally NSFW.

Overall A++ comic though. I seriously recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy, or even if you don't. The quality of the work is truly amazing, and it's worth a read to anyone looking for an adventure.
