Webomic Poster Images are being reprocessed

OOps, i fogot to mention one other thing: With the migration to 2.0, all webcomic poster images were erased. They are currently being reprocessed. All webcomic poster images should be back online by the end of this week. We've also gotten rid of the annoying profile image for a webcomic

UNSOUNDED Hype

If you like comics with

fantastic AND realistic character development

extremely well thought out world building

amazing art

hot guys

A cool, custom magic system that makes sense

a nice, long archive for binging

frequent, reliable updates

a creator who is super accessible and willing to answer all of your weird, random questions (that aren't spoilers)

then you'll like Unsounded.

More hype (because this comic really is amazing) :

The author has a really good sense of pacing and balance. She somehow manages to make a comic that includes blood and gore AND singing butts, and it doesn't feel forced or cheesy.

Her characters feel real, and she has mastered the art of "everyone-wants-to-do-what's-right-yet-they're-all-working-against-each-other" and it's easy to find yourself rooting for multiple different sides, but there are still plenty of baddies that are easy to hate.

She also has developed religions, unique species, an entire language (it doesn't interfere with the understanding of the comic though) a cult, and side stories in prose that tell stories from the past that aren't necessary to know in the comic, but are fun to read because they help you get to know the characters even more.

One thing I will suggest, though, is to make sure you read through at least chapter 2 before making any judgement. Chapter one is kind of a prequel in the sense that the real action doesn't really begin until chapter 2

Also I would consider this a pretty mature comic for language, violence and nudity. All three of those are done in tasteful ways I think (swearing flows with dialogue/character; violence is gory, but only in specific scenes--it's no horror comic; nudity has only been breasts and butts but adult situations are also rarely implied.) but still may not be appropriate for young readers, & is occasionally NSFW.

Overall A++ comic though. I seriously recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy, or even if you don't. The quality of the work is truly amazing, and it's worth a read to anyone looking for an adventure.

What others in the comic books an entertainment industry have said about Massively Effective.

"MASSIVELY EFFECTIVE is massively entertaining. Lopez and Ginn have created a very fun and relatable superhero action-comic buddy adventure that is a refreshing change from the pointlessly gritty muck that infests most superhero titles today. Not only is it a quality story with great art, but it has the added bonus of a wide and diverse array of NEW characters that the industry sorely needs. You can't go wrong with this book!"- Brandon Easton (Shadowlaw, Thundercats The Animated Series, Armarauders)

"Great enthusiasm, lots of energy, and fun snappy patter."- Ross Richie (Founder & CEO of Boom! Studios)

"It reads just great, and I thought it was a lot of fun. Best part, I thought, was that the dialogue and interactions between characters was so honestly and artfully done." - Paul Jenkins (Fairy Quest, The Darkness Video Game)

"Massively Effective is a superhero-esque Chuck by way of Jay & Silent Bob. It balances comic book industry chatter with a buddy movie-style action-adventure."- Jim Zub (Skullkickers, Street Fighter Legends)

"I love the diversity of Massively Effective. It's a fun and interesting collection of unique characters. Teenagers will definitely be entertained!"- Anthony Montgomery (Star Trek: Enterprise, Miles Away)

"A nice blend of action and humor. This is exactly the kind of thing I think is missing from most modern superhero comics. It's just fun-adventure-y, and breezy."- Geoffrey Thorne (Genre 19, Ben 10, Leverage)

"Massively Effective is infectious. A great buddy comedy that rings true. It feels like I'm ten years old watching Saturday morning cartoons all over again."- J.T. Krul (Green Arrow, Soulfire, Jirni)

"Fun read, most of the time people send me stuff I sort of skim through it but this held my interest throughout. The one page origins are funny and lots of fun, quipped stuff." -Matt Hawkins (Think Tank, Cyberforce, Aphrodite IX)

"I enjoyed Massively Effective with its clear writing and solid artwork with pretty, but not overworked, coloring a lot. In fact, "not overworked" applies to all facets of this nicely conceived and executed book. No overwrought, under thought dialogue or tortured looking art here. Just a good, easy and entertaining read."- Will Meugniot (The DNAgents, Exosquad, Jem)
